Disability insurance / CH: reduction in benefits for disabled children
Disability Insurance (DI) Spitex reduces benefits for disabled children and penalizes parents and caregivers. AGILE Mutual Handicap Suisse launches when a call to the Federal Council to use its flexibility and allow minors to access the contribution of assistance.
Starting from a Federal Court ruling in 2010, disability insurance is currently revising the reimbursement Spitex children with a handicap, says AGILE in a statement released Thursday. Specifically, the insurance will no longer reimburse parents with pediatric home care of children with severe disabilities.

Disability Insurance Revision
Parliament accepted this spring, the introduction of contributions for assistance in the first part of the sixth revision of the Disability Insurance. This budget allows people with disabilities who wish to live at home but need assistance to do so to engage an audience.
But the law provides that the Federal Council determines the conditions under which minors may also be eligible for this benefit. AGILE therefore calls on the Federal Council to open children’s access to the contribution and assistance to relieve parents and caregivers.
